Work in a busy east London PR agency on exciting tourism and lifestyle accounts. Be part of a creative and energetic team assisting with social media, copywriting, and PR campaigns, overseen by our Head of Content.

A Marr + Associates is looking for an enthusiastic PR and marketing executive. The successful candidate will join an exciting travel and lifestyle PR agency to work with a range of clients from national parks and European destinations to luxury lifestyle brands and tour companies. We’re based in the creative hub of Hackney Wick, alongside affiliate business the Bamboo Bicycle Club.

Who we’re looking for

This role would suit someone with experience in PR, marketing or journalism. We also encourage applications from graduates who have some internship experience in PR or marketing. For the right person, our team of PR professionals are keen to provide mentoring and skills development for this exciting new step on the PR and marketing career ladder.

Our PR & marketing executive will be a great copywriter, knocking out killer blog posts and press pitches with ease. They’ll have a strong understanding of social media and how to create compelling content that gets people interacting and sharing. They will be extremely well organised and comfortable planning ahead, liaising with clients to create exciting campaign ideas.

Their spelling and punctuation are impeccable and they are comfortable using applications such as Microsoft Office with the initiative to troubleshoot new features and functions that will improve the way we work. Naturally, with exciting travel clients, there is likely to be the opportunity to travel, as well as the chance to attend events and to meet journalists and broadcasters.

Key responsibilities include:

– Managing client strategies and yearly pitching schedules
– Organising campaigns alongside creative teams (both traditional and digital)
– Working with the team to answer journalist enquiries and put together pitches
– Organising press trip itineraries
– Ensuring client social media feeds are updated regularly
– Assisting the team when planning events and press trips
– Representing AMA at London industry events

About you:
– Desired: Organised and good time management

– Experience of working in pressured environment across numerous accounts
– Proficient with Microsoft Office
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Confident and capable telephone skills
