With around 50,000 attendees and 5,000 exhibitors from 186 countries, the WTM is the ideal place to discover new products, new markets and network with people from around the world. 5. Social Media at WTM
The social media programme this year will take place from the 3rd-5th November and will have senior executives from companies like Facebook, Twitter and Tripadvisor. There will also be start-ups, destinations, bloggers and publishers at the programme. This years keynote speaker is the global head of travel for Facebook, Lee McCabe. The programme will also have sessions featuring Twitter’s sales manager for UK and Ireland, Samir Bhana and Tripadvisor’s product director Sarah Davey.
