A Marr + Associates (AMA) is seeking an individual based in Perthshire to join the expanding team in our rural office in Scotland. We’re looking for someone who would relish the opportunity to join a young, dynamic PR agency and help us continue to innovate within our sector.
AMA was established in 2010 specialising in tourism marketing and public relations. We represent a range of exciting clients that include destinations, European hotel chains and innovative lifestyle businesses.
The role would involve carrying out key tasks such as public relations and content management along with assisting with PR campaigns.
Although the candidate will be based in Monzie, near Crieff, the successful candidate would be working closely with a dynamic team based in the creative hub of Hackney Wick, East London.

We are looking for a candidate with experience of copywriting, media pitching, social media management, campaign management and securing new business. The right candidate will be well organised and confident dealing directly with clients to create exciting campaign ideas as well as dealing with the day-to day administration of an office.

We are prepared to be flexible for the right person, requiring a minimum of 21 hours per week (to include Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10-3, would be preferable). Full time hours are also a possibility.

Who we’re looking for:
+ At least three years experience working in a marketing, PR or journalism position
+ An understanding of marketing, PR or journalism
+ Experience of working on multiple accounts
+ Excellent attention to detail
+ Excellent computer skills and proficient with Google Docs and Microsoft Office
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Confident and capable telephone skills
+ An understanding of the business world
+ Social media savvy
+ A good team player with the flexibility to assist with London office tasks as well as occasional administration cover in the Monzie Estate/ Monzie Joinery office where we are based

Key responsibilities include:
+ Managing client strategies and yearly pitching schedules
+ Organising campaigns alongside creative teams (both traditional and digital)
+ Working with the team to answer journalist enquiries and put together pitches
+ Organising press trip itineraries
+ Ensuring client social media feeds are updated regularly
+ Assisting the team when planning events and press trips
+ Based in the Monzie Joinery/ Monzie Estate office, the successful candidate will be required to answer the telephone and deal with walk in enquiries on an occasional basis, such as holiday cover.
